28 days on raw fruits and veggies.

For those of you who have followed me for a long time you know that I used to eat raw food. I started back in 2011 and followed that way of eating for 2.5 years. I have never felt better in my adult life than I did during that period. No colds of flus, no PMS and lots of energy.

But there are two main reasons while I left this way of eating:

  1. The fruits available in Sweden is, in my humble opinion, quite boring in the long run. I missed eating mangos, cherimoyas, persimmons, figs and much more. These fruits are available here but don’t taste even close as good as the ones I bought in Spain for example.

  2. My family is not on a raw food diet and I missed eating the same dishes as them. I still have my smoothie for lunch and when I work I have smoothies for lunch but when I’m with my family I eat cooked foods for lunch and cooked foods for dinner.

When the spring arrived here in Sweden I felt an urge to eat raw food again. And I decided to do it for 28 days. I’m on day 2 today and it feels like coming home. My body LOVES this!
